SkyTran est un nouveau système de transport, actuellement en développement au NASA Ames Research. Ce système fonctionne par suspension magnétique. Ce train d’un nouveau genre pourrait flotter jusqu’à 100 KM/Hh et  transporter 14.000 personnes par heure :
